Perfect place to stay and so much better as an alternative to a hotel stay! The apartment is so spacious and even bigger

Pleasant stay, good location.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the living room spacious and relaxing.
Cons: The bathroom is in need of a small renovation. No washing machine or dishwasher. The landing to the apartment was dark with no lighting - a bit spooky.

Spacious, fantastic views, 2 min walk to city centre
Pros: An amazing property and fantastic host. The property's location is excellent. City centre, bus stand is like 2 minutes walk. Apartment is very spacious, very clean and very reasonably priced. Its a huge apartment and feels like a palace. We had very good time with kids. The host is very good. The response time is very quick, almost instant, very helpful and co-operative. Views are ecstatic from the balcony. There were board games in the cupboard which were a plus with kids.
Cons: We would expect property to have a dishwasher, washing machine for a long stay. Also, toilet flush needs to be fixed as it takes time to fill which is not ideal.

Pros: Huge one bedroom apartment in incredible building. Very well located with stunning views of the mountains. Comfortable layout and great retreat from the rain, with very easy access to great hikes when sunny. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic apartment and staff went above and beyond.
Pros: Quiet, spacious centrally located property, great value for money for two people. Comfy beds and nice furniture. Great kitchen facility. Lovely balcony. Property manager was very responsive and went above and beyond during our stay.
Cons: Very few negatives. The only one is that the bath plug did not work so we could only shower.

We had a fantastic stay! The host was great, answering our questions via WhatsApp quickly and being incredibly flexible
Pros: Everything! The location was perfect, being so close to the centre of Chamonix, yet it was still nice and quiet (even with the Marathon du Mont Blanc going on). Beautiful view from the balcony. The apartment was also a lot larger than we imagined, and a great space to relax and unwind. The building is beautiful and full of history!

Spacious, good price for pricey Chamonix, only a couple minutes up/down hill to city center
Pros: Great location away from the noise/crowds of city center with a wide open view of Le Brevent and paragliders from the small balcony where we enjoyed having our meals. This is a private rental in a grand building that use to be a luxury Belle Epoque hotel many decades ago. We liked being away from the crowds, but only a few minutes walk away to bus stops, groceries, restaurants, shops. The historic building had very high ceilings and windows, giving the space a very open feeling.
Cons: As some reviewers noted, there is only one window that opens, but no fan provided, which is needed as the summers are getting hotter. You have to wait for someone to arrive to hand off keys, as the building is not a hotel and not staffed. There is a public restroom by the parking lot next to the overpass, good to know if you have to wait. Be sure to ask how to use the door buttons to get in and out of the building, how to turn on the hallway lights (hallway is very dark), how to use the stove and oven, where to bring garbage as there are no written instructions and that aren't intuitive if you are from another country. Also allow extra time on check out morning as you are instructed to take all the sheets and pillow cases off the duvet/beds, wash, dry and put away the dishes and take your garbage outside down the street. As this is not a hotel, you have to bring or buy your own toilet paper, shampoo, dish soap, paper towels, etc. as there was only supplies that lasts a couple nights. Note that there is a $500 damage deposit and a $23 linen/towel fee per person that is not included in your final price with Booking.com. Unfortunately there was a very loud construction project outside the windows during the day. The accommodation does not provide a Chamonix Guest Card, but you can get one at the Tourist Office by showing your Booking.com reservation receipt to ride the Chamonix Mont Blanc express train or take valley buses for 50%.
