Résidence Luxe 5*

Absolutely recommend.

Pros: The apartment is beautiful and cosy with everything you need for a stay with family or friends. Kitchen is well equipped. The view on the mountains is amazing. 5 minutes driving to city Center and from to 10 minutes to ski parks.

Very nice accommodations but falls short of luxury criteria

Pros: Located centrally and easy access to Chamonix. Spacious, modern and clean. Parking was easy and kitchen was well equipped and view was beautiful. Beds were comfortable and owner was relatively responsive via booking app.

Cons: There is a very detailed description on how to find it and park which was helpful but ADD the actual name of the complex (La Cordee). This can only be found at the end of the booking.com title. Simple addition would make the instructions even better. To call it “Luxury” I would make some adjustments or remove that word in description to avoid disappointment. There’s one (one the small side and a bit scratchy) bath towel and hand towel only per person despite multiple day stay. There are no pool towels so if you use your towel at the pool it will be wet. More towels would help or at least having a pool towel per person. Washer & dryer are available NOT in the room. This wasn’t clear in description. What’s worse is it’s available for a limited time during the day 10:30-8p. If you get there even 1 second past 7:59:59 you will be locked out till 10:30a the next day. This blew our plans. I usually do laundry in evening and don’t plan a day of vacation for it. I set an alarm to get it out at 8p only to find it locked for the evening and there’s NO WAY to get your things until the next day at 10:30-and of course it was wet so had to use another few hours that day taking care of it. This brought about the biggest reason although a very nice property I would not call it luxury as there is absolutely no service. No one to help you if you have any problems. There is supposedly a caretaker but ourselves and no one we spoke w could contact him. There was a note on the door where he was supposed to be saying he was only available 5:30-6:30p. Although there is an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room they are available only until 9p. No outdoor pool/hot tub and there no way to get in outside of those times. The hot tub was warm and typically filled with kids. You also need to plan some time for check out procedures including washing & putting away dishes and stripping beds. Again not something I would expect to do for luxury accommodations.

Belle vue et détente

Pros: La belle vue sur la montagne. Le logement joliment décoré. Les espaces communs à disposition. La communication et l'organisation avec l'hôte.

Cons: Quelques conseils déjà transmis à l'hôte pour gagner encore en standing/confort.

Pros: Very nice appartement with a lot of nice facilities. Easy access to the city center by walk. The appartement is very nice and the host very helpful. Recommend

Pros: La surface à disposition, les équipements, la tranquillité et la proximité du centre de Chamonix

Cons: Il serait judicieux de pouvoir disposer de paignoires pour se rendre à la piscine. Ainsi qu'une seconde carte magnétique pour les accès. Dernier élément, le système de régénération de l'air du logement est bruyant et surtout pas trouvé la solution pour réduire le flux. Dès lors en hiver une grande partie du chauffage s'échappe et à mon sens pas très économique.

Pros: La propiedad esta ubicada en un entorno espectacular a 5 minutos en auto de centro de Chamonix. El departamento es muy cómodo y esta bien equipado. Jeremy estuvo atento a todo lo que necesitamos y respondió con rapidez cuando tuvimos alguna dificultad. Dentro de las instalaciones hay una piscina, con jacuzzi, sauna y gimnasio. Todo impecable!

Cons: Las almohadas merecen un cambio!
