Appartement Lyret centre Chamonix

Beautiful view, extremely handy location

Pros: It’s about the location with this apartment, it is extremely handy for everything. The overall apartment is comfortable and has everything you need. Very homely. It has lots of extra appliances. If I was being very critical some parts are old and tired/ a little worn out. But some parts were very modern. It was very handy to have a lift to help get your belongings upstairs. We drive an SUV and had top box fitted which would not fit in the underground car park. We emptied the top box, detached it and took it up to the apartment as we were there for 3 nights. There is limited parking outside the block within the parking barrier. Very helpful as it is all free because it is expensive to park in Chamonix. You have to enter the property first to get the barrier fob, then park. The owners were very helpful through messages and always responded. We would stay again and recommend with an honest opinion - then you know what to expect.

Cons: There was a strong fishy smell in the property, I think lingering in the living room curtains. The main bedroom was extremely dark, the ceiling lights did not work. The sofa bed sheet was dirty. We still enjoyed our stay.

Great walkable location.

Pros: Location was good. Kitchen had everything. Great views.

Cons: Check in was hard, we went to wrong door. Needs a short video. Ran out of loo paper. Wifi very slow.

Pros: The staff/management team was excellent and really helped accommodate our in-flux schedule.

Cons: Only thing I can say, and it’s really minor, the parking situation wasn’t ideal; it has underground parking but if you have a ski-topper on an SUV size vehicle it won’t fit underground. So, you’ll need to use the few spots available next to the apartment.

Emplacement parfait pour tout faire à pied (téléphérique, courses, centre ville, aiguille du midi …)

Pros: L emplacement, la vue, appartement très cocooning où l on s y sent bien Vue sur le mont blanc

Cons: Un peu étroit entre la salle de bain, toilettes et 2ieme chambre
