Cons: Not much - if you're tall you do have to be careful moving around upstairs as the ceilings are low.

Cons: Height of the ceilings - we’re a tall family and we kept hitting our heads on the low ceiling!

Pros: Spacious, clean apartment in an excellent location. There is a locker for skis. Check in was very easy. The host (Matthieu) was very helpful and friendly. Helpful and comprehensive notes to help arrange transfers and ski hire (Proski - excellent ski shop).

Cons: The ceiling height on the mezzanine is low. On the other hand the mezzanine does provide lots of extra space so this is not a big deal.

A beautiful newly decorated apartment in the heart of Flaine with amazing views

Pros: The apartment has been recently renovated and it is really nice. The kitchen is well appointed and it has everything you need, specially nice to have some vinegar, oil, salt and pepper, a kitchen cloth and a roll of kitchen paper and cleaning tools. There was a dishwasher with detergent pods, and a Nespresso with some capsules. The beds were very comfortable and having two bathrooms is very nice. The bed linen and shower towels were provided. It has an amazing terrace facing south with wonderful views of the mountains. The access to the ski-room is very easy and the pistes are only 100 m away. Parking was very easy and nearby: you can park in the door of the building to unload/load very easily, and then take the car to the P2 100 m away. Getting the keys was easy within the given time 15:00-19:00. The communication with the host was excellent.

Cons: One of the rooms upstairs was very hot because the heating pipes of the whole building go through it, so if you closed the window to the other room to avoid noise, then it was really very hot at night. It would be nice to have shampoo in the showers. The kitchen has everything you need, but it would be nice to have a full load of Nespresso pods, and perhaps bigger coffee mugs.
