Rochebrune - Superbe studio au départ des pistes

10/10 location for access to the slopes. Short walk into the centre of town. Clean and modern room.

Pros: We stayed in January 2025. The room was exceptionally clean with what looked like brand new furniture and fixtures. The building is a 1 minute walk from the rochebrune cablecar and is also directly next to a chairlift that takes you to the nursery slopes. You can ski literally into the backdoor of the room. 15 min walk into the centre of town with ski hire shops only 5 minutes walk away. The host was very friendly and helped with one or two requests. Despite being a sofabed, the bed was exceptionally large with a proper matress.

Cons: There are two dedicated ski storage rooms for the building block, but the lockers are reserved for the other rooms. There is no dedicated ski storage locker for this specific room. We were fortunate with our stay that the building was not fully booked, so the host allowed us to use a ski storage locker that was reserved for a different room. The living area is slightly cramped when the bed is opened out, so you have to be fairly on top of keeping the room tidy. Some minor improvements for the host to consider: There was no hairdryer at the time of the stay. There was only a tiny pairing knife for cooking, a larger proper kitchen knife would be useful. A smaller bin for the toilet would also be nice.
