Everything I thought the French Alps could be but better.

Pros: The view from this apartment is breathtaking! The staff in Saint Gervais were so helpful when I needed advice about getting to the town after a missed train transfer. The apartment is right next to the Mont Blanc Tramway which will take you up into the mountains for hiking (or skiing). I booked an extra night because it is just that spectacular.

Cons: You need to pick up the sheets from the Interhome Office which is about a 15-minute walk downhill (or uphill) from the apartment which is fine, but be aware that if you don't have a car, the walk with the sheets, suitcase, backpack and potentially other bags can be a handful.
