Exceeded our expectations.

Pros: We had an outstanding stay at Chalet des Grands Bois with my sister. The host, Patrick, was absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome. Pros: We spent a wonderful week in Luxury chalet with a breath taking view on the mountain peaks with commodities such as sauna and hammam. Every morning the breakfast of fresh croissants and French pastries was served by friendly and extremely accommodating owner Patrick.

Lovely home in Les Houches

Pros: Patrick was very warm and welcoming. He went out of his way to help us and even drove us to a nearby restaurant. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee exceptional. The views were incredible

Cons: It was further away from the centre of Les Houches than I realised. About a 20 minute walk uphill. Fortunately it was still close to the TMB trail, so all worked out well in the end.

Perfect stay, close to main attraction, in a little corner of heaven!

Pros: The Chalet des Grands Bois is absolutely amazing! Extraordinary view, amazing room and very very comfortable bed, everything done with great attention to detail and the outmost care for the wellbeing of the guest; the room had everything you could wish for and more:) We loved the table outside and the sunbeds that offered the perfect relaxation spot. The hosts are caring, and ensuring their guests have a great stay: from the breakfast prepared by them and served on the terrace to the small gestures that help make this experience one to remember. I cannot recommend enough!

Pros: Super continental breakfast, freshly squeezed orang juice, Nespresso coffee, hot dish of pancakes or crepe offered also. The chalet views are absolutely outstanding from the lounge/ dining area and also the bedroom.
