Chalet Olea Chamonix - by EMERALD STAY

Pros: Walking distance from one of the best ski resorts in Chamonix. Modern and comfortable, well equipped. Hot tub, sauna and garden were definitely a plus.

Cons: The room with 3 single beds is in the ceiling, with very low ceiling, no bathroom, it contrasts with the other rooms in terms of comfort/amenities.

Positive, memorable, and comfortable stay. Wouldn't return.

Pros: We were a group of 6 professionals celebrating a winter holiday together. We liked the location in Argentiere, where we could enjoy the whole valley easy by car or transit, but the accommodation was quiet was more private. The house had all the amenities we needed, including a full kitchen, which we used extensively as a group who likes to cook. The hot tub, sauna, fire place, large TV, 3 full bathrooms, parking, and ski boot room, also made our stay very comfortable.

Cons: The room layout was a bit odd. We thought we were getting three main bedrooms with 3 ensuites from the pictures, but instead there was two rooms that shared one bathroom, and then one bedroom with two full bathrooms and a powder room downstairs. We thought we might use the extra attic room, but the ceiling was too low for adults to safely use without hitting your head. While communication was good with the management company, some responses were surprising. We nearly ran out of toilet paper, and we were only provided 6 dishwasher pods, and were told there was no resupply available. Given all the luxury touches, we were disappointed that on our final days we were being asked to take time from our vacation to resupply what we consider essentials to the house.
