Grand chalet Le Trappeur - Chamonix

Pros: Chalet was absolutely gorgeous. Clean, comfortable and had every little extra you could ever want.

Cons: We stayed in January so last train back to Les boson (closet station to the chalet) left Chamonix at 19:30 so we where a little restricted if we wanted to stay out later as Ubers are very limited.

We had a wonderful stay. Chalet Trappeur provided a superb base for our adventures.

Pros: The chalet was well equipped and located right at the foot of the walk up to Les Bossons glacier. It was equi-distant between Chamonix and Les Houches so you could easily enjoy but also escape the hustle and bustle. A nice walk in to Chamonix took around 40 minutes. Views were amazing straight out of the chalet towards the summit of Mont Blanc just visible. We enjoyed relaxing at night in the garden after busy days in the heat watching the headtorches of climbers play on some of the \

Cons: There was nothing really did not like. A few niggles like anywhere that is popular so the following comments are worth noting but did not impact our stay in any way The stairs are very dark and tight even with the lights on so would not recommend it for someone who struggles on stairs. The laundry room lighting seemed to have a mind of its own so use your phone torch. The shower on the top floor bedroom leaks down onto the stairs below so we placed a bowl on the stairs and stopped using that after the first morning but did not cause an issue as two other showers were available. The chalet is linked to the one next door although doors are locked so you can get noise from the next chalet.

Pros: Great communication from hosts prior to trip, check in easy Chalet was beautiful and very well equipped Location perfect for getting around the Chamonix valley. We thought proximity to the main road might be a problem, but in the garden the road noise is cancelled out by the sounds of cascading water down the mountain It also has incredible views of Aiguille du midi and the glaciers and there is quick access to trails that allow you to hike up to view the glacier closely Wish we'd stayed longer and would love to go back

Pros: Spacieux chalet avec tous les équipements nécessaires.la superficie est parfaite pour une famille de 10 personnes. Le sauna et la baignoire balnéo sont appréciables après une journée de ski. La vue du salon et de la terrasse est incroyable (mont blanc, aiguille du midi juste en face ). La décoration du chalet est de bon goût La gare des bossons est à 5 min à pied.

Cons: Proximité avec la voie rapide. Sinon RAS

Beau chalet que nous aurions davantage apprécié en hiver

Pros: Nous avons apprécié le logement et sa situation géographique Nombreux équipements Grand jardin Produits de toilette et serviettes mis à disposition Terrasse face au mont blanc Vue magnifique Places de parking suffisantes

Cons: Pas de micro-ondes Pas de climatisation avec cette canicule, les nuits étaient compliquées et c est dommage car nous sommes venus participer à 2 courses du mont blanc .( le sommeil est primordial)

A wonderful stay in a beautiful chalet that had everything we needed.

Pros: We really liked the location—it was beautiful and convenient. The house itself was cozy and well-designed, with great furniture and a welcoming atmosphere. The facilities were excellent, including a well-equipped kitchen and a nice grill. Everything was clean and in good condition, and the property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Cons: Nothing significant—overall, we were very happy with everything.

Chamonix de 10!

Pros: Ubicación excelente con vistas increíbles al Glaciar de Bossons Casa perfecta para dos familias o 10 personas (12 seria demasiado justo) Tiene de todo lo necesario para disfrutar de la estancia.

Cons: Ruido en el falso techo de una habitación que molestaba levemente para dormir. Excesivamente cerca de la carretera y se escuchaba el ruido de coches y camiones. La limpieza aunque fue muy buena se podia mejorar (polvo debajo de camas)

Beautiful stay, at an outstanding property.

Pros: It was a beautiful property, fully equipped which made our stay very comfortable. It’s not too far from the city center and it was easy to commute by the train, and the walk was very lovely as well. The neighborhood is very quiet and suitable for a family. We were never disturbed by any noises, and all the neighbors are very friendly. Definitely will not be our last visit.
