Chalet Luxe Les Mélèzes

The house we stayed in was amazing. Spacious, clean, close to everything and amazing value.

Pros: Host met us at the house, handed over the keys and explained how to use the facilities

Cons: The ski bus service is not optimal in Samoens. You cannot tell when a bus is coming etc and also some buses you can get do not stop at the grande masif lift (Main ski lift in Samoens) even though they pass right by it.

A lovely chalet with everything you could want very close by

Pros: Good location, good sized bedrooms and living area, well equipped kitchen, clean, comfortable beds good showers.

Pros: Self catering, the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and plenty of cutlery and crockery. The chalet exceeded our expectations and was larger than appeared on the photos. The dishwasher tablets were well received even though we had taken some, washing dishes for 9 would have been a chore. Bedrooms lovely size, the cupboard for hanging coats meant the bedrooms were not cluttered with ski clothing. The hot tub was very well-come after a day of skiing. Even though it’s close to the road, as it’s not busy it doesn’t cause any problems. We had two cars and ample parking We didn’t use the washer but nice to know it was there. The temperature of the chalet was good a little too hot at times but better that than too cold!! Fabulous place to stay, highly recommended from our group x

Cons: Our mistake, as it had 4 bathrooms we assumed 4 toilets and there were 3, which was only a slight issue first thing when we were getting ready to leave all at the same time, we got used to it, so don’t let this comment put you off as it’s a fabulous chalet.

Nice home near town and gondola with a view

Pros: The house is very well built, spacious, and clean. A short walk to town and the gondola. Great view of the mountains and a waterfall from the house. Well manicured lawn, and clean hot tub. Cleanliness is always most important to us, and this easily met our expectations! Host also left a local spongecake and jar of jam for us, which was a lovely touch.

Cons: The house could have been better stocked (hand soap in all the bathrooms, extra toilet paper, even some body wash would have been nice). It is close to the road, so sitting outside, there is road noise. Also, there is a thick layer of plastic on the dining table (I assume to prevent stains), but it is not very nice to use as a guest. Recommend treating the table to help prevent staining, and letting guests use the table without the bulky plastic. Despite these small details, we would stay here again.

Pros: Het comfort: alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Er is daarnaast ook veel ruimte. De chalet is zeer mooi en praktisch ingericht. Alles was zeer proper.

Pros: Chalet très confortable et de bonne taille pour accueillir 8 ou 9 adultes sans problème.

Pros: It was exceptionally clean with 4 separate showers/ bathrooms in each of the rooms. This was really convenient. Fire place was nice during the evening and made the whole chalet very cozy. Jacuzzi was a plus after skiing. Living room was large and dining table was also big and could fit all our family members (9 people). Chalet is located not too far from the city center and you can reach all amenities with in 3-5 mins drive. I'll definitely return in the future again.

Cons: Chalet has good sound proof from outside noise (cannot hear much from outside) but with in the chalet, the insulation needs an improvement. You can hear foot steps from the upstairs from rooms below.

Chalait magnifique et très confortable

Pros: Tout était parfait. Gite magnifique et de très belle qualité. Un vrai petit nid douillet. Jacuzzi très appréciable.
