Apartment Maisonnee - A Charming Chamonix Haven

Compact, Comfy, Convenient :-)

Pros: Location - Perfect for Chamonix Town Centre Beds & Pillows - Super Comfy Showers - Hot & Powerful Heating - Comfortable

Cons: No cooker - although this is stated in the description Kitchen draws need renewing - wonky! Fridge could do with replacing - but works

Overall an enjoyable stay. Would recommend to others, but just be aware of the stairs.

Pros: Location excellent. Plenty of hot water all the time. Lovely and warm. Beds very comfortable. Having 2 bathrooms is very useful.

Cons: Slightly awkward getting up and down the narrow, twisting staircase with suitcases. If you need to get up during the night to use bathroom, again, the stairs are awkward. Families with small children should be careful - so as long as this is made clear in the description, then people are at least aware. Tall people will find the bedrooms awkward, especially the double bedroom as the sloping roofline makes moving around quite tricky! This is a minor point but the details stated that the car parking space was labeled space 20. Unless we are blind, there is not a label that says 20, just a piece of paper on a fence. This space was also taken by other vehicles on occasion. Not a big deal, but worth noting.

Pros: Excellent location, includes parking, cosy apartment - good value for money.

Alpine climbing with a group of four persons

Pros: The kitchen and two bathrooms were great for our group of four alpine climbers! Awesome location also, right in between the city centrum, restaurants, Aiguille du Midi lift and Montevers train.

Cons: I can’t name any negative sides! It exceeded all expectations

Pros: Good location, would be a bit tight for 6, but more than enough space for 4 people. Having 2 bathrooms can be a great plus for bigger groups, though.

Cons: Having visited in the summer and during a heat wave, it is clear that there is no infrastructure to deal with heat. One of the bedrooms had the 2 water heaters inside cabinets which for hot summer nights results in quite uncomfortable sleeping temperatures. It is probably great in winter, but we suffered a bit with this setup. Kitchen cabinets and power outlets could benefit with some maintenance, as they are starting to show signs of being misaligned / loose and bumping into each other.

Pros: Great location, washing machine and dishwasher were awesome to have, nice neighbours.

Great location, well equipped apartment and great communication throughout.

Pros: Really good communication before arrival, clear instructions to get in the apartment, great location and so good to have 2 bathrooms, 2 adults and 3 teenagers shared the space and it was fine. Everything you need is in the apartment and we cooked in a couple of nights.

Cons: Just to be aware that the upstairs space is in the roof so it very low ceilings, my partner is 6ft 4 and coped ok though, it is very spacious with lots of floor space though and a lot bigger than I have stayed in before.

We had an amazing time and we will certainly be returning to the same property if it’s available

Pros: Excellent emplacement : accès très pratique zu centre ville et place de parking top.

Good apartment at a reasonable cost but pretty hot in the peak of summer.

Pros: Great location, easy key collection and excellent communication from the host. The place second floor room with two bedrooms in the loft. Having two bathrooms in what is a relatively small apartment was a good surprise.

Cons: Not great for summer. No fans upstairs in a week of 30c + days was pretty brutal. I'm sure it'd be great - nice and cosy - in winter, but a bit of a struggle in summer.
