Pic Janvier - Alpes Travel - Les Praz (sleeps 4-6)

Pros: Nice Location, close to the lift. Good contact with owner.

Lovely house and a great base for summer hiking.

Pros: Well equipped, clean and comfortable house in a convenient location for Flegère lift and local buses. Useful garage area to store outdoor gear Very responsive host who answered questions quickly before arrival. A few restaurants within walking distance and easy enough to get into Chamonix by foot (35 mins riverside walk) or bus.

Cons: For a summer stay it would have been nice to have some chairs on the upstairs balcony. The only shop within walking distance apart is the local Epicerie, which is great for daily breakfast stuff but too expensive and limited for main meal shopping - you need a car to get to the bigger supermarkets.

Fantastic stay in a perfect chalet

Pros: Spacious well-equipped chalet in brilliant location. Very comfortable beds and great facilities.

Cons: 1 or 2 teething issues which were sorted promptly. The WiFi was sub optimal. Car got stuck on the icy slope at the front but we managed to extricate it (mea culpa but beware)

I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Pros: It was located so near the Flageres gondola, it made getting going in the morning and returning so easy. Well located to all the bus stops needed for other destinations. The house was comfortable well equipped.

Cons: The couch could have been more comfortable. With a family of 4, every seat matters 😉

Pros: Cozy 2 bedroom duplex style apartment with living and dining on the ground floor, and breathtaking views of Mont Blanc from the Southern-facing Balcony and Garden. It also has a parking space in front, as the garage can not be used. Facilities within the apartment are great.

Cons: The apartment was very dusty, so we had to do a little bit of cleaning upon arrival. There is an issue with flowing hot water where the boiler heats overnight, and if hot water is used in the morning, it needs to be re-heated (switch). otherwise, there will be no hot water in the evening.

Pros: it was very close to the chair lifts. It was wonderfully clean and well sit out. Far more spacious than we expected.

Really great place to stay to access Chamonix but not stay right in the centre

Pros: Overall a great property with private parking, kitchen was well equiped, bed were comfie and clean, towels were great quality, information provided about the surrounding areas, food recommendations etc was much appreciated and informative

Cons: Was noise very night from the common 'square' outside so this made it hard to sleep some nights, could have some fans available for the warmer weather, would have been nice to have a change of towels mid week
