Le Rocher - Chamonix Hypercentre - Refait à Neuf

If you want to be in the heart of Chamonix, I would recommend this property and I would stay again.

Pros: The location was excellent,, which is why I chose it. The apartment had all the necessary equipment and on the whole was well furnished. An excellent outlook down on the street below and of the mountains over the tops of the opposite buildings. I had to contact the property manager as there was no water supply at all in the apartment when I returned early one evening. They were very, very helpful.

Cons: Collecting the keys and online check-in was perhaps overly complicated if you have never experienced that type of property access method. I'd visited Chamonix many times before so I knew where the key collection site was. As mentioned, there was no water supply in the apartment one evening. The property management did deal with it and the water supply eventually was restored late in the evening. This did upset my plans for that evening as I didn't want to leave in case they needed access.. The property management person was very helpful and apologetic but I received no apology from the owner. Lack of parking was a problem, with the nearest, reasonably priced (€16+) overnight parking, a good 5 minutes walk away.

Nice spot, nice apartment.

Pros: Apartment was lovely and clean. It was well stocked. Handy spot for local amenities, didn't have to walk far for anything.

Cons: It was pretty stuffy at times, bit of aircon would be great as opening the windows let's in a lot of street noise. It's so central, which is great, but with that comes a lot of noise from the restaurants and people passing by. Which is to be expected. Check in and out times are a bit naff, but they do this to encourage you to pay extra to get in early. Contrast with the place I'm at in Annecy right now, they were more than happy to let us in two hours early, and why not. The place had been cleaned and was ready already so no point in trying to inconvenience your guest for the sake of a few quid .

Overall, the apartment is centrally located and its conditions meets our expectations.

Pros: The apartment is at the center of the town, which is very convenient for food and transportation. (The other side of the coin is that it is a bit noisy and you'll have to close the windows during the night.) It has a well-equipped kitchen which we enjoyed. It has a washing machine which we gladly put to use.

Pros: Great location in centre of Chamonix. Nice decor. Good sized kitchen and dining space. Good shower. Ski room in basement.

Cons: لا يوجد مكيف او مراوح واذا فتحنا الدريشة الغرفة تصير باردة وممتاز ولكن الازعاج مايخليك تنام
