Pros: Property is full of character. Expect a wooden cottage hidden in semi private forested location. Yes the floors are creaking and there's creepy cellar included. Nevertheless the kitchen is modernly equipped and bathroom is nice too. It's noticeably cold inside even on hot days. We've had some troubles, Some light bulbs were not working so we had to swap them between the rooms. We've had a dog with us, and the location was perfect. There are wild animals around. Fox came over to peek through kitchen door and apparently deer, badgers and sometimes even wolves show up. Montroc is well connected to Chamonix valley by free train, and Le Tour tih the cable car is nearly walking distance away.

Cons: No all lights were functioning. Main door lock can be difficult to open. We are family of 5 and would appreciate more keys for flexibility.
