After booking, guests may reserve the exact location of their accommodation by contacting the residence directly, subject to availability and an additional charge. The following services are available at an extra cost: beds made upon arrival, towels and end-of-stay cleaning. A grocery delivery service is available during the winter season (charges apply). Paid parking is subject to availability at EUR 55 per week in winter and EUR 50 per week in summer; guests are invited to contact the residence directly to confirm availability. For invoice requests, please note that invoices are issued under the name stated on the reservation. If the total amount of the reservation is not paid within the timeframe specified in the booking policies, the property reserves the right to cancel the reservation and apply cancellation fees. Any modification may incur additional charges. Credit card is the only accepted method of payment. In July and August, Pierre & Vacances offers a €40 activity voucher per apartment in Chamonix for stays of at least seven nights, valid with the partner Evolution 2 Chamonix. Guests can enjoy outdoor experiences such as rafting, canyoning, mountain biking, hydrospeed and hiking. The voucher is provided upon arrival. Activities require prior registration and remain subject to availability. As these activities are organised by independent partners of Pierre & Vacances, the programme may be subject to change.

Excellent

Pros: Excellent location. Bus stop right outside the fort for quick and easy access to the different ski areas and quick walk and you’re in the thick of town. Clean. Loads of hot water. Comfy bed.

Cons: Honestly it needs a bit of an update as it’s a bit old. But then it would probably cost a lot more

Nice room and very helpful staff.

Pros: Very nice room, comfy with everything needed. Big plus for the staff who were helpful.

Cons: For the private parking it is required to pay additionally or find a place in the town which is rather demanding.

Almost everything was good except there was no WiFi in our building.

Pros: The location was perfect. All necessary amenities were available. Good view to the mont blanc.

Cons: Our building did not have WiFi which was a bit weird.

Brilliant location and comfortable apartment, but watch out for all the other local costs.

Pros: Self catering. Location is brilliant, apartment is great for two people, though a bit tight for any more. Well equipped and well serviced.

Cons: Chamonix has become highly developed, with holiday apartments shoehorned into every available space, very much at the expense of car parking availability. Not only was car parking difficult to find spaces, but it was expensive. There should have been space outside Le Chamois Blanc to enable people to unload their cars on arrival, but this has all been removed, meaning that people have to drag their luggage across the busy road from even the nearest car park. Pity, it never used to be like that.

Pros: Excellent location and very comfortable apartment. Check-in was easy and staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

Cons: There was only one roll of toilet paper in the apartment for three people, for a 3-day 2-night stay. Would have been nice with at least one more roll, just in case!
