Excellent location from the centre, would recommend for a short stay.
Pros: Friendly staff, we were able to check in as our room was ready. Space to leave luggage so you can explore on final day. Easy to find with free breakfast and hot drinks all day.
Cons: Rooms are basic but equipped with everything you need.

Cons: Underfloor heating appeared to be everywhere except the computer work area - which was cold in winter.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, lovely place, very generous self-service breakfast. I also liked where it is located, though this is probably something that can vary from person to person. From the Chamonix Sud i always walked 15 mins to the location while carrying my snowboard with boots on. I liked that 15 mins walk before and after a busy snowboard session. On the road leading to the Lodge there are lots of beautiful small houses and scenes. It was a quite joyful walk for me every time. I was in a double room alone, and the room and the bed itself were very comfortable. Price is quite good for Chamonix during the ski season.
Cons: My main pain point was the non-existent noise isolation. If someone leaves the toilet without closing the door and the lights, you would hear a very loud ventilator sound all the time. And anyone talking in the Lodge you can hear from your room. And if people being not careful, they would be smashing the doors loudly. But these were happening not too often, the majority of the guests were very thoughtful about being quite and they also went to sleep quite early since most of them were tired of skiing whole day. You also get silicon earplugs, which were quite comfortable and useful.

Great view and has the exact basic necessities needed for a short stay!
Pros: It was such a cute, quaint hostel! I was surprised by how there weren't any staff. The breakfast was available 24/7, so very much an honor system. The kitchen was very clean. The room, while small, worked, and had an amazing view of the mountains. I loved that there was an envelope for us on the door when we arrived. Amazing for the price.

Great spot!
Pros: The lodge is great! Big kitchen, solid breakfast, parking lot, sauna, bag storage and everything we needed. Views were great from everywhere, nice and quiet location, no cars passing on the street at all. In general for people that dosen’t like commercial loud and big hotels and like us want to feel the quiet spirit of the mountains i will highly recommend!
Cons: Our neighbours were slamming their doors at 6AM everyday. Not a big deal though

A relaxed place to make a base for exploring Chamonix and the mountains
Pros: Great location, and everything about the property was spot on. Great bedroom (we had a twin en suite room) with plenty of room; well equipped and spacious kitchen; good communal dining and lounge spaces. Parking outside. Tea and coffe on tap, and breakfast included. Can't wait to return!
