Super cute apartment next to ski lift & close to bus stop.
Pros: Location is very good. Liked that it was close to the ski lift and the bus stop. Pool was a nice touch. Amenities to cook & dishwasher (although we didn't use it that much), it was nice to have.
Cons: Only 1 towel per person for 5 nights is not easy to manage for a woman. The pool was nice but was not aware that it is a walk away from the property, that was fine, but the shower at the pool is under construction, so was walking back half wet and in flipflops with the only towels we had for the trip. No propper light in the bedroom. Also, there were some cobwebs in the living room, in the bathroom, and in the cupboard, also an old dusty thing in the cupboard as well as some dirt in the corner next to the fridge, looks like it was not cleaned propperly. Also, thanks for the tea, but some coffee would be nice as there is a coffee machine. Also, thanks for the salt, 3 different kinds, but would be nice to have pepper as well.

A genuine warmth and shared space.
Pros: As always the people are kind warm and welcoming. I think it’s Guillaume- the lovely gentleman who is on reception is so wonderful with people (hence why I have come back for my second time) I wouldn’t stay anywhere different. This is a traditional building which offers a genuine welcome for those who love simplicity the mountains. We can eat around tables and share stories of the day after cooking in the kitchen together. The rooms are well sized, each equipped with a small light. An area outside dorms to sort bags in mornings/ toilet and let others sleep.
Cons: Pillows

Not luxury - but great for its purpose!
Pros: Excellent as a hostel: everything very clean, beds okay, good showers and washing facilities - and very good value for money. Lots of people are there to start the TMB and the staff are very knowledgeable about this and other local tips.
Cons: Location is a bit further outside of Chamonix than some other hostels. Beds not the comfiest - but good enough.

Our group had a great time. Stayed here before starting the TMB!
Pros: Good refuge, we shared a 6 bed room. The beds had enough power outlets and a little reading light. Really nice man at the front desk who helped with check in!
Cons: Nothing to complain about, its a good refuge!

Satisfied with the provided services
Pros: The staff at the chalet was friendly and patient. They do a good job in trying to set good work principles with the huge and dynamic amount of clients. The ratio price-quality of service is decent taking into account that we talk about Chamonix Mont-Blanc.
Cons: At the chalet, the bed and the floorboards were creaking. The blanket from the bed had holes in it. The staff at the SNCF station in Chamonix showed that they lack common sense.
