We great enjoy the stay with great view
Pros: We stay in junior suite, very good 4 star hotel, located at Cordon, short 40 min drive to Chamonix town, high & have great direct view of Chamonix & Mont Blanc. Very good break fast provide.

Nice location
Pros: The location with the Mont Blanc View is very nice. The lady at reception was extremely professional and attentive.
Cons: The standard room is quite small but ok for one night only. The bathroom could do with some renovation, very old-fashioned. The lady at breakfast was unfriendly, also there were no additional plates available, one had to eat the egg from the same plate as the other items. Quite some waiting at the coffee/tea machine.

Idyllic
Pros: Idyllic location, peaceful bit close to towns. Kids lived exploring and playing with the dogs.

Beautiful views, excellent cheerful staff
Pros: We had a great week at this hotel - which was far from full as it was between skiing and walking seasons. The staff were universally excellent, they worked very hard for us and met every off request we had - and we had a few! It was a marvellous week and we were particularly glad that the hotel staff weren't overloaded with guests (that was good form us!).

Cons: Low ceiling bathrooms Persistant chloreum/ pool smell in the lobby No coffee in room No easy access to coffee at breakfast (one machine for the entire restaurant, everybody lining up like at the school cafeteria . Not very 4*) when i mentioned this to the receptionist she pretty much refused to listen and appreciate the inconvenience Other staff member (Marie) was extremely helpful and nice in our late arrival and shipping us a forgotten sweater

Nice authentic hotel with mountain view
Pros: Nice view from the room and even better from the restaurant! The hotel is not new, but we liked this rustic and authentic style with some modern details. An hour of SPA (private reservation) is really a good bonus. Overall the room was cousy!
Cons: We were located in the annex building, so it was not that convenient going to/from SPA. The brekfast is a bit too expensive and has NO any kind of vegetables (even not basic such as tomatos, cucumber etc.).

Lovely alpine retreat
Pros: Lovely property, very alpine feeling, all the staff were absolutely wonderful, super friendly and welcoming, and we loved the gorgeous dog Lucky!! Breakfast was good as well, good selection although the same every day. We ate once in the restaurant for our evening meal which was also delicious. Lovely to have the spa area too and book it out privately. Overall we would recommend and we would stay again!
Cons: Nothing that we didn't like as such but some areas for improvement. I do agree with other reviews regarding the bathrooms, they're okay, functional and well sized, but ours was a little tired and there was some staining around the tiles and in the bath. We also found that the housekeeping was a bit irregular with the towel replenishment, and I noticed they never put the throw pillows back on the bed when making it. There is also no little extras like cotton buds of face pads. None of these things were a big deal for us and certainly wouldn't stop us coming back, but just these little improvements would help make the hotel feel extra special!

Pros: If you're looking for a hotel with a panoramic view on Mont Blanc, then this is the right place! However, note that Cordon is a bit outside the hot-spot of the area if that's what you're looking for.
Cons: Very poor Wi-Fi. Could barely load any internet page.
