Charming oasis

Pros: I stopped here on stage 2 of TMB and really enjoyed my stay here. It was very scenic and located about a 15-minute walk from town. The views from my room were lovely. It was a great spot to rest after a day of walking.

Cons: Only 1 smallish towel in room.

Pros: all of the restaurants in Contamines-Montjoie were closed when we arrived there on Wednesday but we were able to get a delicious and very filling dinner at the hotel restaurant - only 22 euros for 3 courses, perfect for fuelling to continue the tour de Mont Blanc! there's also a table football table in a small communal area that we enjoyed using in the evening staff were helpful with local knowledge of the mountains and let us know about the snow we were going to come across the following day

Cons: it's a little walk out of Contamines-Montjoie which was difficult on tired legs but worth it

Pros: the room and balcony were nice; the owner was very friendly and apologetic when a very rowdy group kept us up at night

Cons: it was farther from town than we had realized; breakfast was quite expensive for what you got

Fantastic food and lovely staff

Pros: Fantastic food and lovely staff. It's a little bit run-down but that does not bother me. For the price the food is exceptionally good: home cooking for dinner and an ample continental breakfast. Bravo!

Stay here. Is worth the hike to this place!

Pros: We stayed here on the first day of the TMB. The dinner was spectacular with and amazing duck confit that we are still dreaming about. The staff was very friendly and we even got our room earlier than the check in. The view from the balcony was stunning. I will stay here and no where else when if coming back to Les contamines!

Pros: A lovely little hotel with large rooms and a balcony with incredible mountain views. The staff were so nice! We didn't buy the breakfast but it looked outstanding and they did make us cappuccinos for a very small cost. A great stay on the TMB!

Cons: Nothing..not was lovely!
