Good and central location with novelty value being on the pistes. Cool to have access only by lift.

Pros: The property is on the pistes. It is thus very well located and while the rooms are relatively compact, they are warm and comfortable. You are staying here in large part for the location. The stay is half board and the food is good. The staff was friendly and there is a place to lock up skis and a boot warmer. It must be borne in mind that the only access is via the telecabines (not a criticism - just a fact) meaning you need to be aware of and plan for this in terms of judicious packing and timing of the lifts (lift access up and down to the hotel is free so you do not need to buy a pass for access to the hotel).

Cons: We stayed very early in the season (December 20) and just before Christmas. Thus there was only one other party there the first night and then two other parties there the second. So it was quiet. I would also say the lounge area for guests is fairly basic. Not a deal breaker, by any means, but were it more inviting it might be nice to hang out there and get a beer or a glass of wine and snacks. In this regard, I imagine because it was start of the season, there was not too much on offer from the bar in the evenings and wine was only available the second night on request. This last element is likely specific to our early stay.

Excellent location, good friendly staff with delicious local food.

Pros: Easy access to the ski slopes, especially ski school. Easy a manage a family both in ski school and a teenager skiing with us, but a little late out of bed!

Cons: Nothing although at night there is no access to the town as it is up the hill and needs the télécabine to be working. Not an issue for us but for others this might be a consideration.

Pros: Accueil chaleureux, toute l'équipe est au top! Cadre superbe. Ambiance terrasse au retour du ski et calme absolu en soirée.

Pros: Personnel très avenant et serviable. Situation géographique parfaite pour se détendre sans le stress des remontées le matin, et le calme absolu le soir des 18hr. Ambiance familiale et conviviale Gestion des forfaits sur place, un vrai plus.

Cons: Les repas servis dans le cadre de la demi-pension étaient top, mais manquaient parfois un peu de légumes. Le matin, quelques crudités auraient été parfaites (rondelles concombre ou tomate par exemple) ainsi que des kiwis pour compléter les fruits à dispo

Pros: Excellent séjour à l’Etape. Les locaux, la chambre, le personnel, les repas, la situation exceptionnelle… Tout y était! On reviendra.

Pros: Un petit coin de paradis, uniquement accessible en télécabine, nous avons adoré être en pleine nature. Un accueil chaleureux, et un endroit reposant.
