Hôtel Les Aiglons Chamonix

Pros: Proximity to ski bus. Great bar. Lovely helpful staff.

Cons: No ventilation in the bathroom so it completely steamed up when you had a shower. The hair dryer must have been dropped. It still worked but only if I squeezed the handle really tightly.

Lovely spa facilities, great location, clean rooms, excellent stay would recommend !

Pros: Very friendly staff and so helpful renting skis all in one place!

Pros: Everything! This was a beautiful property in a good location with outstanding facilities. Reception were helpful and thoughtful, bar staff friendly and warm. Gorgeous fire lit in the bar area. There was a ski hire shop with 20% discount which made it easier. Breakfast gorgeous, sauna and pool fabulous. Views were stunning. Highly recommend. We loved our stay.

Cons: We couldn’t get a table in the restaurant despite asking in the morning and staying there which I haven’t experienced before. Took breakfast up to the room one day, the cleaning staff left the plate there two days. Not enough tea and coffee facilities in the room. Bar snacks slightly lacking, they could make more from this and more money from it. Staff insisted on waiting until the exact time of 4pm when we asked 4 mins earlier and had been travelling for 6 hours. Restaurant completely closed one evening we were there and the only option was a few crisps at the reception at a cost of €5 per bag. Considering the size of the hotel they can’t really not provide any food of an evening. Staff did not help with luggage and instead told me to wheel a luggage carrier down.

Pros: The hotels in a fantastic location for ski bus transfers and bars and restaurants are nearby in chamonix sud.

Cons: Room was absolutely roasting despite turning all the heating off, there was a fan provided though. shower didn't work properly and tea and coffee wasn't filled up each day. there's absolutely zilch in terms of English channels on the TV only a Chinese one and all the TV features have been locked down to stop you streaming anything. Pool and spa are lovely as are hotel staff. The bar gets quite noisy though a.d can be heard even in the room if your room is near the atrium in the centre of the hotel

Good location, the lobby is decorated beautifully, but room is really small

Pros: The hotel is very close to the entrance of the town, and the bus station from Geneva airport is in front of the hotel, just across the road, ski bus station Chamonix Sud is next to the bus station, can see the bus station from the balcony of the hotel room. The bed is very soft, I like it, but the beside table is very small. Hotel staffs are very helpful and friendly. And from the outside dining area next to the swimming pool, Mont Blanc can be seen.

Cons: There’s an outdoor swimming pool but the hot tub is only a very small part of it and can only accommodate 2 people, every time I want to try it, there already have 2 people in it.

Brilliant accommodation for our Chamonix adventure

Great hotel, best location

Pros: This is our second time staying at Les Aiglons. It’s one of the best located being right by the buses for both transiting in/out of Chamonix and onto the slopes each day. It’s an easy stroll of a couple of blocks to the main shopping / dining precinct. It has heaps of facilities including onsite ski hire and lockers to store and dry your gear. The restaurant is very good (although Italian so don’t expect French classics).
