Memorable stay for all the right reasons

Pros: Beautiful, traditional hotel, amazingly helpful and friendly staff. Fantastic location, near to everything. Rooms a little small but very comfortable and nicely decorated with a breathtaking view. We would highly recommend and definitely come back

Very happy about our stay

Pros: The room is very clean and comfy, the staff is very friendly. Very good breakfast. The location is perfect, one minute to the bus stop and train station, very convenient to go to the town centre or the ski resort.

Cons: Both breakfast and dinner were included in my booking. The breakfast was excellent, while the dinner was average and did not meet my expectations of French cuisine.

Wonderful new years, friendly staff and great service

Pros: Food was great! I have difficult dietary and the chefs were really good at accommodating. Breakfast there was a great choice. Staff were really friendly and helpful!!

Good value for money, pretty good location just 10-15 easy walk into town.

Pros: Was better than I expected for a 2 star lodge. Comfort, food, cleanliness and service all of a good standard.

Chamonix is always a good stop off point

Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. The restaurant was closed because it was off season, but there are plenty to choose from in Chamonix (avoid the nearby Indian not good!)

Cons: No lift.

Excellent - would recommend.

Pros: I am coeliac and the staff helpfulness and understanding of gluten free food was great. They were all lovely and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble.

Cons: Maybe cheaper price would be better and I could have stayed longer.

Great hotel for a short stop over in Chamonix.

Pros: Hotel location was great. Easy 20 minute walk into Chamonix but without the bustle of being in the centre. Local train and bus stops very close. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was small and basic but comfortable, clean and with a good shower. Good choice of food for breakfast.

Cons: Lacking the ability to make hot drinks both in the room and communal area. Lack of choice for evening meals.

Memorable stay

Pros: The service was very good. Since we arrived early they gave us early check-in and cause we were checking out early, they made tea and breakfast available at 6am. Very helpful and courteous. Know English quite well.

Cons: Cud have better breakfast and some more toiletries.
