Hôtel Le Labrador

Excellent stay. Good location and great hotel.

Pros: Location is brilliant. 5 minute walk to La Flegere, bus stop and train station. Clean hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, excellent parking. Within walking distance to Chamonix centre (35/40 minutes).

Cons: Only reason this wasn't a 10/10 was due to it being reasonably close to La Cabana Des Paz (restaurant). There were weddings on every night we stayed and it was noisy during the evenings into early morning. The noise woke me up a few times. Not that this is a fault of the Hotel though!

Great location with nice views

Pros: Fabulous location right on the golf course with the mountains all around. Excellent walks if you have a dog with you. Free parking at the door. Great restaurants, supermarkets etc 3 mins away by car.

Cons: It is a little dated. Needs a refurb.

Pros: We stayed one night at Hotel Le Labrador in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is set in a beautiful location with views of the mountains, and our room was comfortable and well appointed. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt both relaxed and elegant. A perfect spot for enjoying Chamonix, and we would be delighted to return.

Friendly staff and great views.

Pros: The staff was friendly and accommodating - despite being fully booked, we were treated like we were the only guests in the hotel.

Pros: The view was absolutely breathtaking , we didn't expect to see that!! And the staff was very kind and polite!

Pros: The view from the balcony; we could see the golf courses and part of Montblanc; many shelves and places to deposit our stuff, very practical and made the room look cozy and tidy; access to spa, also because there was nobody there, so we enjoyed even more the sauna and jacuzzi

Cons: We had to change rooms because the first one had a strong smell of mold; we thought it was the wood smell at first, so we arranged all our stuff in the room, but during the night we could not sleep because of the smell, so we asked to change rooms and it was very fast from their side and changed rooms in a couple of hours. The first room had a great view of Montblanc (we asked and pay for a room with a view of Montblanc), but the second one had a tree in front of the mountain, so it was partially seen, but the golf courses made up for that, let s say..

Pros: I don't know how the star system works, but for this hotel to be only 2 stars is absolute crap. Perfect location in the middle of the old town. 5 minute walk from transport, 5 minute walk to the lake. 24hr front desk. Clean, tidy, well maintained. Nice breakfast, luggage storage after checkout. I would recommend to anyone.

Pros: We had walked past Hotel Labrador on a previous visit to Chamonix and thought it looked lovely, the reality was even better, with great views up to Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi from our terrace and at breakfast. And we loved the spa and cosy lounge / bar area.

Beautiful location fairly close to town with very friendly staff

Pros: The hotel is beautiful, the hot tub and it’s setting was gorgeous, staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Views are stunning in the area.

Cons: It was close enough to town, but could be inconvenient if not driving. Hot tub is very small, luckily it was quiet when we were there but can imagine it being inconvenient when busy.
